The Parents & Babies Unit provides effective, practical support and strategies that enable mothers and fathers to confidently manage the challenge of early parenting. As parenting issues involve the whole family, partners or significant support persons are encouraged and welcome to attend. SERVICES PROVIDED: the unit can provide assistance and practical help with parenting issues such as: understanding your baby's behaviour, feeding management (including breast feeding or bottle feeding), introduction of solids and weaning, settling your baby, sleeping patterns, crying & unsettled behaviour, adjusting difficulties, parential fatigue, postnatal stress, uncertainty with your parenting role, postnatal depression & anxiety, relationship support. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: A parent help line is available between 9am and 4.30pm for parenting information, postnatal depression support groups, parenting education sessions, visiting psychiatrist, access available to an interpreter

Border Family Planning Clinic Ltd

Border family planning clinic offers a service for both male and female clients, to assist them in making informed decisions about all aspects of sexual health. The clinic is staffed by female doctors and nurses and all services are completely confidential. Border Family Planning Clinic bulk bills clients for most services including pregnancy testing and pathology services. Free Cervical vaccines offered to under-26s on Thursdays at 5.30pm.

Sexual Assault Service - Albury

The Albury Sexual Assault Service provides support to child, adolescent and adult victims of sexual assault. Services include crisis intervention, counselling, court preparation and support, consultation to other professionals. No services to perpetrators.

Westside Community Centre Inc - Albury

Westside Community Centre provides information, Services, Programs and activities for the local community. Services include; Womens Health, Child & Family Heath Nurse, Immunisations, Community Legal Service and Dept of Housing information. Activities and programs include; Playgroups, Mothergoose, Lifeskills, Mens Group, Youth Group and School Holiday Programs.

Women's Centre Albury - Wodonga

Counselling, information, referral & advocacy for women. This service provides support groups for the following; KNOTS(domestic violence), Women & Anger, Self esteem and Assertiveness, Discoveries (for survivors of childhood sexual assault/abuse, Exploring Mental Health, Well Women's Clinic and Menopause Clinic. The Women's Centre is a confidential supportive service for women by women. They provide counselling by appointment, and phone support, women's domestic violence court assistance scheme, resources, information on women's health and well being, support groups and health clinics.

Support group for women whose lives have been affected by cancer. Meetings are friendly, informal and also it is a place for social interaction and friendship. The meetings are held on third Monday of each month with discussion, fun and laughter. It is also a great forum to discuss core issues, feelings and and everyday experiences with others.
