Trained community workers assess the needs of the community and plan the delivery of a variety of programs and services. Runs the Community VisItors Scheme which aims to provide volunteer support to residents of Commonwealth subsidised aged care homes who are socially isolated, and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and companionship. Also runs the Telepol scheme to make telephone support contact to socially isolated aged clients. Hostel 110 Vernon St Nundah (14 people) for respite.
