TNP is a Christian non profit organization aiming to serve the disadvantaged in the Moorabool Shire without prejudice. It is aimed at people suffering economic emergencies and other difficulties. The Centre maintains a store of tined, frozen and freshly donated and purchased foods. There are no vouchers, parcels, hampers or handouts. Hospitality is offered to all, a cuppa, chat and opportunity to relax in a friendly atmosphere.

Eastcare Hawthorn Primary Care Project

The Hawthorn Primary Care Project assists in service access and provision for young people and adults living within the City of Boroondara in boarding and rooming houses, supported residential services, bedsits or similar housing and to those who are homeless. The Project employs case outreach support workers with backgrounds in housing, mental health, alcohol & drug services, aged care and social work to provide outreach support and crisis intervention as well as to identify client needs and develop strategies to meet those needs. A Salvation Army chaplain and a Homeless Persons' Program Community Health Nurse are available. Appointments is required.
