CRS Australia is the Australian Government provider of vocational rehabilitation services with over 65 years experience in assisting people with a disability, injury or health condition to get and keep a job. They also provide injury management and prevention services to a variety of organisations. Generally 16-65 age group. We help people with a wide range of conditions covering physical, psychological and sensory conditions. Referral from hospital, GP, specialist, ACAT team, social worker, O/T, other allied health personnel. Must have been ACAT assessed in last 4 weeks. ACAT assessment must be ticked in Transitional Care box.

Extended Care/Rehabilitation Services This service offers specialised exercise programs and caters for a wide variety of medical and musculo-sketal condiditons as well as for those individuals who have sustained compensable injuries (e.g: workers compensation, MVA and DVA). The service includes hydrotherapy, pilates, physiotherapy, injury rehabilitation and prevention and pre/post surgical rehabilitation. Staff are trained Exercise Physiologists using exercise as a treatment strategy in physical rehabilitation - as a preventative strategy for certain chronic diseases as part of establishing and sustaining functional independence. Staff work with individuals to reach personal goals by providing treatments on a one to one basis or groups.

Provides assessment, advice and rehabilitation programs for individuals or groups. Provides contact / liaison with other health care providers. Clients (Pensioners) may be seen at the Plantagenet Hospital via Outpatients referral at no cost to them. Clients may also be eligible for the Medicare Care Plan process for limited treatment condition at no cost to them. Clients may be eligible for cover by DVA and rebate via their private health funds.
